NOT TONIGHT!!!

My heart was beating faster than ever, my nerves were a wrecking ball at this point
I froze as he stood still with his lips inches away from my neck,
We stood still and knew any move or shift of our bodies at this point was dangerous
He muffled under his breath, please stay....I don't want to be a jerk but I want you!!!
I was trying to gain control of my senses and say something, I could not make sense
All I heard myself say was NOT TONIGHT Julio....................
He loosened his hold and his hands went down the side of my thighs...Chills!!!
He stepped back and I was still frozen in that spot, my heartbeat was slowly in control
I cleared my throat and turned around, staring at this midnight snack my body said I needed
We were silent and he said goodnight sweetie, thank you for a lovely evening!!!
A part of me was angry, why didn't he try again, why didn't he hold me one more time
I said good night and tried opening the door, but the damn door wont open, why now
Julio came up behind me and the door unlocked, we said good night one more time
He took my arm and said maybe not tonight but I WANT YOU on a night YOU WANT ME TOO
Yes! I knew I was totally gone at this point.
I smiled and went up to him and pecked his cheeks, then whispered EVERY NIGHT not tonight!
I did not want to leave his penthouse like a totally flustered chicken so I flirted back
It felt good but as I made my way to my room, I knew I need a Cold shower....
Julio set me on fire tonight and I kinda liked it, I bit my lower lip excited about this!!!
Live a little, sometimes let those wild thangs fly I said smiling as I opened my door....

TWAS MIDNIGHT

So, we sat and talked about things I cannot remember
We dined and ate salads, pastas and sweet baked goods

We drank the classiest of wine and beverages as the night unfolded...........

I must say impressive, Julio had made all these beautiful preparations nice and classy!!

 The night was going so peacefully beautiful, food was right, lights were dim and right....

 The symphony of sounds from the instrumentals playing in the background, YES!!!

 I was slowly being drawn into all these sweetness, I feared I was losing control ha!

 I felt completely lost in everything, It felt scary but also awkwardly good!!!

 We sat at the table being polite with questions and answers, eyes locking at intervals

 Smiles through the shadow of the rippling blue waters and my nerves slicing through me

 I knew there was something about this night that would be magical for sure.

Eventually we broke the ice by sharing childhood memories and jokes....

Laughing over a lovely moist rum cupcake, baked to perfection in my opinion yum!!!

 We were seated on the patio now, taking in the cool breeze of the night.............

And then it got a little chilly and of course my dress was not exactly chilly friendly..

 I tried to brave the chills, and ignore how my senses were being knocked out...

 Julio saw me rubbing my arms and went in to get a plush sofa duvet he wrapped around me.....

 It was so warm and cozy, it almost sent me into his arms to sleep and cuddle ( Wake Up)

  I smiled saying Thank you, he smiled saying of course, you are my guest as we smiled....

 He suggested we went back inside so I don't catch a cold, Lord! what is happening

  I yearned for some warmth, my body was reacting a little different than normal

 We went in sat down as the music switched to some fine smooth Jazz.

 I did mention he smelt good earlier, his shirt was loosely unbuttoned at the top,

  I could see his glittering chain, tiny but visible to my wandering eye...........

  He took my hands and locked our fingers, the heat waves came through that hold!!!

 It felt almost good, as I slightly cocked my head to rest on his shoulders and it hit me...

 I definitely was treading dangerous waters, I quickly unlocked my fingers and stood up

 Its getting late, I must return to my room I said, as I looked up at the clock 11:45pm.

 Its been a lovely time spent with you Julio, though my body was screaming stay (silent thought)

  I am getting tired and would love to call it a Night...my words were speeding out of my lips.

 Julio smiled and replied of course, I will never deny this beauty her sleep as he kissed my hand..

 I grabbed my purse, whipped my hair sideways and headed out.........

 He walked me to the door and just right before I reached for it...

 He grabs my waist from behind!!! His grip was loose but strong

 I felt his breath on my neck and just like a still from a movie shot

EVERYTHING STOOD STILL.......................

DINNER AT THE PENT HOUSE

The whole day made no sense, from trying to figure out how to look to what to wear

I was just not in control of how I was feeling, I was excited but at the same time all nerves

In all of this glam and glitz of this beautiful place, why am I the one Julio wants to dine with

Here I go getting in my head, all a ball of excitement and nerves and no one to tell

I went downstairs eventually at about 1pm, strolled to the bar to see Rodriguez......

The bar was bubbly with music and lovely colors and the pool as always beautiful AQUA!!!

I got a nice spot right in front of the bar and kept Rodriguez company till the bar was a lil quiet

People still came through but we got a lil time to talk, and of course Rodriguez was all ears

So how are you enjoying your trip mami he asked, I sighed and ran through my last couple of days

He kept grinning and that got me curious, why are you smiling Rod I asked,

You need to live a little, stop acting so scared and shy, it’s just a dinner why so worried he asked

I was quiet for a minute then answered; I am not scared just not sure why he wants me.....

Rodriguez smiled and said once in a while soak it all in and embrace FUN!

He told me to let loose, stay in control but try to let go of my hurt a little and enjoy a good time

Before I knew it, time had flown by, from people coming for re-fills at the bar and stopping by for a few hellos

We had talked till about 6pm, phew I had to go get ready and Rod hi-fived me to a night of fun...

Not sure about fun I said as I walked back into the hotel lobby and dashed for the elevator

Got in and luckily no one was going up, hit the 5th floor and up I went.......

Got in, took of my clothes and dashed into the shower letting it steam and soak my nerves

It was about 7:30pm when I finally got out, I had not figured out what exactly to wear.............

Trying to process everything, I got up and started looking through my clothes

I eventually settled for a black dress, always a go to, some nice sandals and hair in a ponytail bun...

My face was light with makeup, nude lips and bare eyelids; I was not trying to put an effort

I just wanted to be comfortable, relaxed and soaked myself in some perfume...

It was 8:15pm at this point

I was ready I think, I checked myself in the mirror and felt good even with the nerves and headed out

I thought to myself just don't look at anyone or talk to anyone go right to the penthouse!!!!

The elevator was empty, lucky me again, I hit the PH button and up I went 20 floors phew!!!

As I got to the top and the doors of the elevator opened, I headed towards the door and heard voices

I checked again, thinking I was on the wrong floor, I walked a couple of steps...............

The noise got louder, I had placed my hand on the knob and turned to walk away the door opens

I saw a large screen and figured the noises must have been from the TV , phew! thank GOD

I stepped in and realized my hands buzzed the knob and Julio let me in! PENTHOUSE

Before we get to Julio, this room was EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!

Lights were amazing crystal bulbs on a chandelier, of course there was a rooftop pool right outside

The living room was a contemporary color of plush sofas, beautiful canvas paintings, decors

Media area was furnished with the best of electronics and the kitchen....MY DREAM

All white Cabinets, stainless steel amenities and the floor black and white tiles......

This is like a picture out of a movie, how can somewhere this beautiful exist!!!!

Lost in the ambience of this beautiful architecture, I totally forgot Julio was behind me

He grabbed my waist startling me and brought me back to reality, oh those hands and his smell....

He ushered me to a dining area and asked if he could pour some wine, my tummy in knots I just nodded

This was definitely not a dream I was in the penthouse with Julio about to have dinner!!!!

Totally not in the best form of composure right now but lets see how this night UNFOLDS

The end I am not sure I want to know!!

MORNING & PENTHOUSE

The sun seemed to smile so seductive this morning, I stretched in bed and finally got up to look thru the window......
So amazing the pool glittered in the purest form of Aqua.
A few people were out already lounging by the pool, looked at my bedside clock 10.47am........
Eyes wide open, stared at the clock again waoh! did not know I slept in that late musta been tired........
Last night flashes came into my head Julio in my room! gosh a part of me wants this crazy feeling then.......
Another part of me is not sure she is ready, but well we'll see how the days go but i am certain of one thing
Julio is an eye candy Hot damn!!!
Sat back in bed and just gazed out at nature's glow, my thots wandered and then this pain crept back in!!!
NICK........I cant just believe i wasted my time, my heart for nothing??? memories flooded just as the tears formed in my eyes why would this happen to me again? dont i deserve to be loved, or am i doing something wrong? I thot of every plausible reason, Am not pretty enough, Maybe i am not as smart, I am not sociable, or maybe i am not the fantasy he wants in the bedroom?
I hurt and I have tried to numb it these past few days but it comes and engulfs me like waves never wanting to let go till I am spent from crying!!! I walked to the bathroom, opened the cabinet and tried to wash my face, staring right back at me thru the mirror was a shadow of myself, my hair was all tangled, eyes swollen and the life was gone in my face.........
I bent to wash my face, had some paste in my mouth and for the life of me I am sure i did not hear a knock on my door! Its too early and if its the cleaners give me a break I am not even out of the room yet!
I brushed my hair, cleaned my face, and decided to see who was at the door, Hello and i saw no one, awwh hell no i cant do this again, i am not hallucinating, i am not imagining things, closing the door i see a tiny envelope on the floor, I picked it up oh! you should have just slipped it right underneath the door i thought to myself.........
Laila was written at the back of the envelope... I opened it and its an invitation to a penthouse private dinner? DINNER? i said this word like 4 times! this has to be a joke, this is too early in the morning for this, Julio needs not to play with my emotions like this, I am so vulnerable and not even sure I am thinking straight yet, I was imagining the night alone with him!
I have to call Sean I thought, then maybe not maybe I need to just go with how my head feels right now and pay no attention to my heart...........

IT'S HAPPENING OR NOT????

Ok, there was no way I made a constructive word in this situation..
Julio, Eerm hi, do u need something? R u lost? staring at one
another Laila my shoes he said, i stared down and I had
noticed as soon as I saw those patent shoes Iclosed the door
as hard as I could, the blood must have drained from his
feet......I am so sorry that was just reflex i said, Its ok guess
one has to be security conscious but c'mon in a hotel like this?
 give us some credit missy..........
I watched him talk and wondered how we were in the middle
of my suite Guess i had opened the door wider
and he stepped right in, Goodness!!!!
What do i do? heart thumping, whats going on here, why is
he in my ROOM??
He looked around and said nyce, cozy and relaxing ready to
turn in for the night he asked? Ok I was getting miffed what's
this some kinda joke? Ok Julio I have had a real nyce day and
just thot taking a shower and jumping right in bed would be
a good idea till u showed up, I musta had an attitude I
thought......I am sorry did not mean to intrude, I looked
around for u downstairs and u were gone.
I just looked up your floor and room and wanted to apologize
for leaving you alone.........
I must really get on your nerves, and I am real sorry for
assuming it was ok to follow you to your room......
He had said all these and turned to leave, when I called him
back Julio...................
I am sorry, I just have a lot on my mind and was not prepared
to meet with any conversation especially tonight. Its ok
Laila I certainly understand not much of a stalker either,
He chuckled, just had to make sure you were fine as a guest
as well as a friend?? raised eyebrows
I am grateful Julio and thanks for helping me with the key
card, I am sure we would see soon........
Good night he said, and as he reached for the door he asked
when do u leave laila? uhmmm not sure I intend to spend 2-3
 weeks though but might change hotels for scenery.......
Spend your time here, as he said that, there was silence
between us as he looked at me........
Ill think about it i said, he smiled and said Goodnyt,
The door closed and the room spinned out of control for a
few mins, I felt dizzy and walked to the bed sat down head in
my hand asking What just happened???
I could smell his cologne all over the room, I sprawled into
bed closing my eyes and imagining.........
Its official I have the hots for Julio......Not even one week into
my stay O LAWD!!!!!
Off to shower and like a little kid I felt all bubbly

CONVERSATION

Hi all i heard my lips to say, Julio was a dashing piece of candy if i must say...........

U going somewhere? he asked, and from the look on his face,...............

I could tell my mode of dressing was no match to the guests in the lobby or to.....

Julio's who wore a dark suit and crisp white shirt, his cologne was musk hmmmm.......

I keep fascinating about these beautiful creatures called Men, Guys, Boys or Males..........

I drew back to reality as i was supposed to have answered the question I guess...........

I just got back from the pool, was heading upstairs and realized my Keycard de-magnetized.........

I was just heading to the lobby to have it changed, oh! he said we can go together if you dont mind?

I was not sure what the reply should have been, but i kept looking at him, .....................

I guess he read my confusion, he smiled I know most of the staff laila..................

That being said I accepted the offer and we walked across the lobby............

As we walked , i cld feel eyes tear through my skin and muffled whispers..........

I did not need this attention I thought to myself, but i needed to get in my room.........

We approached the desk, Senor Julio the gentleman behind the desk greeted..........

He nodded at me, and soon got engaged in a conversation with Julio............

Whatever they said i had no clue, it sounded real lovely, wish i understood spanish.........

On the gentleman's badge was Jorge (Horhe), ok now i was a bit curious..............

I had to ask why do they pronounce with H and spell with a J..........

Its amazing how diverse the world is, how custom and tradition determine the pple

Lost in my thoughts i had not heard Julio call my name.Laila!!..................

U seem to be lost in thoughts are u ok? he asked, I am gr8 thank you so much ............

He had asked Jorge to get me a new key card, while we were waiting on Jorge.................

A lady walked up to us, clad in a lovely satin dress with a body that graced it well............

Rosario, Julio called at her both smiling they hugged and cheeked one another...........

As they chatted, playing catch up, i guess Julio was lost in his conversation...........

He had totally forgotten me, cuz Ms. Rosy has taken him to a couple of other guests..........

As they laughed and met more people, guess their class of friends.............

Jorge gave me the Key card and i slipped thru the lobby waiting on the elevator to open..........

I almost cursed under my breathe, hurry plz let me just get into the elevator and then my room..........

Finally it opened , without anyone noticing i slipped in and was able to breathe phew!

I got to my door, took out the key card and placed it against the buzzer! yep the green light!!

Room service had come to tidy my room, it was cozy and the perfect night to be lost in sleep!

I had to take a shower, so getting out of my pool attire i hear a knock, strange i thought......

No one knew me in this hotel, besides other than room service ..............................

It was about 9pm , i was feeling lazy and tired , i dragged myself to the Door and opened..........

Empty, the next suite stared at me, Oh! well i thot maybe it was the next room............

Just as i was about to shut the door and turn in for the night, these patent black shoes.........

No way it cannot be who i think it is, i looked up and there he was JULIO!!!!!

SURPRISE! SURPRISE!

It was about 6 in the evening when i finally decided to retire to my suite....


Everyone who had been there most of the day had gone back into the hotel,

While the night lovers were creeping out, as i walked past the bar hmmmmm,

I smiled and took a seat while Rodriguez poured me sum punch mix,

He was a real charming fellow and since i was in no hurry to go meet anyone

We decided i co-bar with him, we giggled and he told me a little bit about himself

How long he had worked for the hotel, his age and quite shocking he was 45 and looked 25

Looking closer at him, i could spot the grays but yum he took good care of himself,

I immediately felt like i found a big brother, as we talked about everything............

From cultures, beliefs, politics, religion, the hotel and its guest then.....

RELATIONSHIP!! that hit a nerve and he must av noticed as he decided to drop it....

Then again what the heck i thought, i told him about Nick and how hurt i felt

He just laughed and said U av come to the right spot.................

U BETTER LIVE MAMI he said! opportunities come once in a lifetime

You are in Cancun, u cant leave without a story of urs, and i mean crazy/wild fun!

Waoh! so i guess i should really av fun then, i decided to ask about Julio!!!

Rod, uhmm mami he said, would you happen to know a Mr. Julio in this hotel??

Mami, too many Senors come in here, so i would not know who exactly this Julio is

A damp in my excitement, ok Rod thanks a lot, i need to go back to my room..........

Mami he said, u never told me your name?? I am sorry i smiled Laila is my name

He said Cancun needs LALA, mami dont be sad have fun and enjoy....

Thanks i said, and then the light of my night flickered on........

Rod called me back and asked.... this Julio you are looking for wont happen to be,

The guy i saw you with at the other side of the pool, Oh Lawd! we both smiled....

So he knew , Sir Julio is an important guest at the hotel he said.....

Why is that i asked?? He is the nephew to the owner of the Hotel..........

I was shell shocked eeerm u mean, Rod smiled and said Yes same one!

Ok now i had to sit down, i regretted my feisty behavior earlier towards him!

Rodriguez assured me, he was a calm spirited person,Unassuming & Lots of charm! The charm part definitely..............

I called it an Evening and told Rod ill see him another time.

All he had told me kept twirling in my head, i got into the elevator and hit 5

My room was on the 5th floor, with a sigh i got out of the elevator......

Trying to get my key card from my Ipod pouch......

I got the card out and tried unlocking my door, it would not open

I tried this about four times and realized it must be de magnetized

Great, how stupid could i have been, now i have to go to the lobby......

Not in the mood for a crowd right now, reluctantly i headed down the lobby

Back in the elevator, i hit the L button and waited.........

The Elevator stopped and opened just as i was about to step out

Right in front of me stepping into the elevator was him................

He smiled and said we meet again Ms.???????

I was too floored i almost tripped, and all i heard my lips say was Llllllaila

The guy i met at the pool was far from this.......

I would have to take a moment to gather my thoughts......
